Abstract
Siemens Smart Infrastructure IT started its agile transition about 3 years ago. After having reached a good agile maturity on a team level, they are now aiming to establish agility on an organizational level as well as a structured way of managing dependencies throughout their enterprise environment by implementing SAFe®. But why is SAFe® the right choice for them? Why not use other scaling frameworks like LeSS and Nexus? Why do they need scaling at all? What is their approach in implementing SAFe® and what are their experiences so far? All these questions are going to be discussed.
Speaker
Oliver has 20 years of experience in different IT positions. Since about 2 years ago, he works as an Agile Coach in Siemens Smart Infrastructure IT and helps the organization as a Certified SAFe® Program Consultant to adapt and benefit from the Scaled Agile Framework. While he knows that SAFe® is not the holy grail of scaling agile, from his experience, it is simply the best fit for many companies.
