Abstract
Today’s world is fast. To keep up, feature requests from the morning need to be fulfilled by lunch. Creating the required software quickly is a must, but how does it end up where you need it that fast? Automation is the key to bringing the software to life. In this talk, you’ll learn how each single commit will end up in the customers’ hands using continuous deployment. Experiences from the field and beyond are shared and show how both developers and customers benefit from this technique.
Speaker
Bernard has a Masters Degree in Computer Science (Beuth University of Applied Sciences). He has been working at IAV GmbH since 2015, first as a working student and later as a software developer. Bernard is developing HMI software at a large scale for cars, to be released in the next years. Being passionate about how all the code ends up in the car eventually, Bernard set up a fully automated continuous deployment pipeline over the years.
