Abstract

One of the reasons often cited for the failure of software development projects to deliver right outcomes is the lack of alignment between business and user needs. It is common knowledge that Agile development methodologies deliver results. While Agile provides an effective problem solving framework, it doesn’t necessarily ensure that one is solving the right problem. Design Thinking helps one identify the right problem to solve and aligns business and user needs. This talk will focus on how Design Thinking and Agile Development works and how it is done in practice at Zalando.
